Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer when you visit a website.
The storage and processing of this information are not permitted unless the user has been informed of and has consented to the processing.

Website Statistics
We collect anonymized information about visitors to our website using Google Analytics.
The purpose of this is to compile statistics that we use to improve and further develop the information available on the website.
Examples of what the statistics reveal include how many people visit different pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites users come from, and which browsers are used.

The data is processed in an anonymized and aggregated form. “Anonymized” means that we cannot trace the data we collect back to individual users. We collect the full IP address, but the IP address is anonymized so that only the first three segments of the address are used to generate statistics.
This means that if the IP address consists of the numbers 123.456.789.123, only 123.456.789.XXX is used.
In addition, IP addresses are processed at an aggregated level, meaning that all data is combined into a group and not processed individually.

Who is the data controller?
A data controller determines the purpose of data processing; that is, the party that decides whether personal data should be stored, used, deleted, and so on.
Altius Gruppen AS the data controller for all personal data that we record in our systems. In certain support cases, we store customers’ backups on our servers, and in such cases we act as data processors. In these instances, we have a data processing agreement in place.

How, why, and for how long do we process personal data?

It must be possible to retrieve unstructured information about an individual if that person requests access to it.

Where do we get our information from?
We collect personal data from the customer’s company, the individual themselves (e.g., at trade shows/booths, etc.), the company’s website, Proff.no, or the Brønnøysund Register.

Do we share information with third parties?
Altius Gruppen AS information in connection with the transport of goods to customers. However, this is done exclusively via EDI. The database is not stored with the carrier. Other than that, no information is shared.

How do we secure the data?

We have carefully developed and documented security and incident response procedures, covering the security of our office, our servers, our systems, and our employees’ computers and mobile devices.

Newsletter In order for us to send you emails, you must provide an email address. Mailchimp is the data processor for the newsletter and has its own privacy policy.
Your email address is stored in a separate database and deleted when you unsubscribe. Your email address is also deleted if we receive feedback that it is inactive. We will never share your email address with others.

What rights do those registered with us have?
Altius Gruppen AS with Norwegian law. Under the new Personal Data Act, those registered with us have:

Right to data portability: A data subject registered with us has the right to take their information with them and transfer it to another system.
Right of access: A data subject registered with us has the right to access the information we have recorded about them.
