The Company's History
Altius Gruppen founded after Darren Stainsby, the company’s owner and founder, moved to Norway Canada and wanted to continue using the products he was familiar with and trusted. He therefore began importing these products.
Darren then established a sole proprietorship in 1999, leveraged his contacts, and quickly built a solid company, which was subsequently incorporated as a limited liability company (AS) in 2004. Since then, Altius Gruppen AS has Altius Gruppen AS steady growth and is now one of Norway’s leading players in the sale of therapeutic equipment.
Since its inception, the company has grown, and in May 2020 we acquired Steens Physical we now assemble, weld, and powder-coat our own tables.

Darren
Owner & General Manager
Darren a degree in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University in Canada. At our company, he works in sales and day-to-day operations.
Paal
Logistics
Paal charge of Logistics and handles imports, exports, and domestic shipments. He also manages customer service and follows up with customers to ensure their needs are met.
He is a graphic designer and also works with marketing, online stores, and other advertising.
Kristin
Office
Kristin on translation and copywriting for our products and website.
In addition, she handles website maintenance, some marketing, and general office work.
Stian
Installer
Stian is an installer of Steens Physical tables.
