Intelect Focused Pressure Wave is an advanced system for focused pressure wave therapy Designed for use in Physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal treatment. The system offers high precision and makes it possible to deliver energy to a defined focal point deep within the tissue, providing treatment options beyond those offered by radial pressure wave therapy (RPW).

One of the key benefits of Intelect is the ability to tailor the treatment to the patient’s needs. Using three different focal distances, the therapist can select the depth of the focal point and target the treatment to the desired area. A focused pressure wave can penetrate up to 12 cm into the tissue at maximum focus and energy, while concentrating the energy at the focal point without damaging surrounding tissue.

Compared to radial shock waves, focused shock waves provide a more concentrated energy transfer to a specific treatment area. This makes the system well-suited for situations requiring precise treatment of deeper structures. Intelect can also be used for many of the same indications treated with radial pressure waves, while the focused technology provides the therapist with additional treatment options.

The system offers step-by-step adjustment of the energy level from 0.01 to 0.55 mJ/mm², allowing the treatment to be easily tailored to each individual patient and indication. The device supports both single-pulse and continuous treatment at frequencies ranging from 1 to 8 Hz, providing great flexibility in clinical use.

Intelect features a compact design and is Designed for efficient workday. The handpiece weighs only 770 grams, which contributes to good ergonomics during treatment. The system is classified as a Class IIb medical device and meets high-quality standards for professional use.
