Baseline Hydraulic Gauge
GaugeBaseline Hydraulic Gauge is a precise measuring instrument for assessing pinch strength in the hand and fingers. The instrument is used by physical therapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate hand function, injuries, and functional impairments.
The device features an adjustable Handle can be adapted to different hand sizes, contributing to accurate and repeatable measurements. The five adjustable pinch positions allow for various grip strength tests, including the tip pinch, palmar pinch, and key pinch, as well as protocols such as MVE and MMVE.
Gauge Baseline Hydraulic Gauge be used both in clinic mode, where the gauge is visible to the clinician, and in feedback mode, where the patient can monitor the results themselves. This makes the instrument a practical tool for testing, documenting, and monitoring hand strength over time.
